Should this be concerning?

Apr 20, 2021, 4:38 PM

Looks like the FGF mafia is writing the NCAA and demanding that Clemson’s title be taken away:

https://southcarolina.forums.rivals.com/threads/the-post-and-courier-article.291193/

“I am just glad one newspaper from S.C. had the nads to write about this doping going on at Clemson and i hope they keep it up because the people of this state and country deserve the right to know. That is 15% of the players tested were positive and the NCAA said about 10 a year out of 1,100 tests are positive. I sent a 3 page letter to the NCAA this week demanding something to be done about this and i stated if they do nothing then the next letter will be sent directly to the NCAA president Mark Emmert and to the Atlanta Journal Constitution so the whole #### world can see how the NCAA is turning their head on this and doing nothing. If enough of the media stays on the NCAA then maybe they will do something. I am waiting 1 week and i am sending the 2nd letter. I got the addresses for both off the net so why don't some of you people do the same thing. We can't just let this go away. If it can be proved that they played the title game with players on PEDs which i know they did, then they should be stripped of that title like they did Southern Cal for Reggie Bush's cash he got to play for them, which made him ineligible and Clemson players would be ineligible too if they test positive.”

What a clown. The title will not be vacated. The players who tested positive were suspended as soon as the results came back. These dummies are still sour Clemson won another Chip and they can’t even score a point in the Belk Bowl. If these coots want they can go root for another team who won’t let them down quite as much.

NCAA were to test our entire team today and every one of them tested positive, that would not prove they would have tested positive three weeks ago. Our National Championship trophy is not going anywhere.

It worked.

People like this really exist and they really do believe everyhing their crazy-little-mind's tell them.

I work with a fella that's the nicest most rational guy in the world. Until it comes to college football, becuase he's a coot.

He says the most outlandish things like "Clemson would still be irrelevant if Spurrier hadn't quit", etc.....

All joking aside, it really is a form a mental illness.

GC Central is obsessed with this. Actually as far as not playing the Tigers, it is probably to Clemson's advantage to schedule a stronger SEC school to bolster the schedule. As bad as Uof5C says the ACC is, they are worse and drags down the Tigers SOS. Just ask UVA.

As far as the drug testing, Uof5C will never be able to live down their scandal so shouldn't throw stones.

Hahahahahaha this is hilarious. The Coots are losing their minds. I just want to point out one Big DA statement is he said clemson should have their title stripped like So Cal ( real usc) bc ineligible players due to doping. Guess what the 3 players that had the smallest trace amount you can have did not play, the NCAA deemed them ineligible so they didn’t play in playoff or title game. Nothing to strip away, the rest of the team that played did not test positive. These ppl are such idiots. Like this guy threating to go to the NCAA president is hilarious, like that was goin to make them shart their pants bc some no one said the next letter goin to president of NCAA, i doubt he will even receive it. Haters gone hate!!! Go Tigers!!!

Re: Should this be concerning?

Jan 27, 2019, 11:34 AM

I also would not be surprised if the whole team has been tested since the first ones failed. If I was going to try to figure out where it came from that would be the first thing I would do. Clemson does not have to tell anyone of those findings and I would not expect them to tell the results. I read where some bb player tested positive and then when retested months later was reinstated, can this happen with our players or will the 1 year ban stick?

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Sounded like if they find out where the illegal substance

Jan 28, 2019, 9:02 AM

came from and that it wasn't ingested intentionally to cheat, then they would be re-instated but I'm assuming that would be also after re-testing.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Clemson will continue to test to their program as

Jan 28, 2019, 10:39 AM [ in reply to Re: Should this be concerning? ]

required(as every school is required to have a program in place), however, testing the whole team would not have been wise. If you don't know where it came from and the whole team is tested and 40 guys test positive then they would be required to report that and all 40 would be suspended for a year. Secondly, absent a rule change on the appeals process, there is virtually zero chance of a reduction in the year penalty without knowing where it came from and proving the player checked, and was unaware and/or staff member failed in their duties.

Clemson is probably testing all equipment and everything they have been giving the players in attempts to identify the source but they probably aren't and shouldn't be increasing the #/frequency above what is required. The problem with finding the source though is if you didn't keep samples of every product used and packaging for every lot # then it's going to be hard to find the source. I would hope they are establishing a protocol to retain the packaging, samples and all that info going forward if they don't have that process currently in place.

Friggin Gene Sapakoff at the p&c at it again....stirring the pot. 18 or 19 guys tested yet he describes it as "fewer than 20" and instead of 3 guys tested positive out of that bunch "15% were positive". He's a hack and always has been a hack. Trying to create a conspiracy were there is none.

He did write at least 2 articles that were complementary to Clemson post natty. First positive ones I'd ever seen from him. He needed to re-establish with his coot readers. Here is the referenced article

Jan 27, 2019, 12:27 PM

I wasted 2 minutes of my life reading that P+C article (and my HS English teacher would give it an F+), I say nothing to see. It is worthy of InfoWars as a conspiracy piece based on nothing.
(1) The title is salacious, drawing you in when nothing actually proving his statements in the article:
(2)He says Radikovich says one thing, then idiotically, includes the direct quote which says nothing at all what he says it does;
(3)We do the same drug tests as Alabama, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and South Carolina, what the NCAA requires, and NONE of them are drug testing their teams right now, why should we?;
(4) The AJC will probably not post the article because it reads like it was written by a drunken writer with a deadline. It simply sets forth a biased theory with absolutely no proof behind it;
(5) I can't believe the editors at the P+C didn't throw it back because it is so poorly written.
