I'd like to confidently say the Tigers will win. I really don't know. It's conditional, IMHO. If the Tiger O wakes up and puts 24 on the board, then I think we win. But if the Pack hold us to, let's say 14, I don't know. Tough one. First time in years I've felt this badly about a game against a team we are supposed to beat. If DD is ever going to win one, this would probably be it. What do you all say?

as long as the Tiger Defense scores 20 points. The Tiger Offense has to prove first they can score touchdowns. Until then they can't talk about it, they have to do it.

if the Tiger Defense scores at least 20 points. Tiger Offense hasn't proved to scare any defense. If and until this happens you just have to be on the edge of your seat.

I’m thinking 23-6 or 23-10. 3 field goals and 2 TDS for the Tigers as the offense makes some small steps forward but stall and settle for field goals on some drives. Two drives that end in scores for Nancy St. I hope both are field goals.

"Tigers win BIG. The offense gets it in gear with DJ airing it out and Shipley having a field day running through the D-line like goose s**t through a tin horn. Bet the farm on Clemson."

he is convinced NC State is cursed and he will never see any kind of major championship save for something like bass fishing or rifle shooting.

I think we'll see the best offensive performance so far this year.

I agree with this statement about likely will be the best offensive performance this season. But, of course, that is NOT saying much. If TE does not change his play calling, we won’t score more than 20 points (2 TDs on Shipley’s legs and 2 FGs on BT’s foot). I still don’t see how we are not calling long td passes to JR, Ngata, and Ajou. I don’t care if they are triple covered or soft zone or whatever. Let them run down field, let DJ throw the ball, and let multiple defenders try to beat either of those guys to the high point of the ball. We will either win the jump (assuming DJ can get it there - and we have seen his arm and he can do it) or we will get pass interference. Six foot backs cannot cover win a jump with those guys. In 3 games for us not to have at least TRIED a pass of 50-60 yards (only one close was Ngata’s 44-yder against Georgia and I don’t remember what was in the air and what was YAC), is RIDICULOUS. I know DJ has had happy feet, but come on Tony, give him a chance, PLEASE!! As for DJ this season, I hate to say it, but maybe he is trying to protect that million dollar contract? Of course, someone needs to tell him that it is a 1-year deal and if he doesn’t improve, he won’t even get the local Bojangles deal next year!

And, one more comment on this. Does anyone know how many targets Ajou has had in our 3 games? I can remember only 1. The guy was a monster in the spring game going against a pretty decent defense. Does TE not trust him now?

I am high as a kite on Ajou. My daughter wanted to go back and watch the 73 whatever shilacking of GT two years ago. Ajou made a catch in that game and broke like six tackles. The guy is a monster.
Beating a dead horse here but Ross has to go back to the boundary, look at the 2018 Natty, the majority of Trevor's throws to him were not very good but that night all you had to do was get it close and he was making the catch.

David, You changed your mind after hearing the reports from practice being really good? When are the reports from practice ever not good? Dabo says every week how good practice was. Every week is the exact same report. It’s nauseating.

I really don’t believe the Tiger coaches can get this offense turned around in one week. There are just to many areas where the Tigers simply aren’t very good. State is no powerhouse either. Otherwise I would be very concerned about this game. The Tigers will likely pull this out but we will go into the next game with questions, questions, questions. I look for Potter to play a big part of this win. Hopefully that 20th point will be enough,

This is one of the most anticipated games we’ve played. We all want to know if the offense can magically turn into a scoring machine. I love all our coaches and players, but I doubt our offense does much. Blaming the poor showing on Tech’s defensive scheme said a lot. Responding to a scheme should take about one series. We had hours to figure things out. The truth is our players don’t have the skills to overcome most defensive alignments. Having said that I hope DJ gets it together and let’s the receivers make some plays. DJ has to run the ball more too. Also have Shipley break a few like ETN. Go Tigers!
