After a nights sleep, reflection on WF game

Nov 7, 2014, 7:56 AM

We basically made 3 major mistakes, Adam trying to field the punt and giving them 7 points. Cole threw interception that left a short field and put our D in a bad spot, leading to 7 points. The end of first half penalty fest of our D, allowing them to convert a 50 yard field goal. Highly disappointing as Wake were celebrating on the field as if they had won the game, big momentum shift at that point. Third down and short conversions continue to be abhorrent!

Now, if the pitch to Scott was made then he gets to the corner of end zone for another 7 points for our a Tigers.

If we play our A game, we win the game 41-3. We allowed 7 rush yards, 7!! 119 total yards, great job D.

Go Tigers!!

Yeah the pitch was a bad play. Sort of a mess but the qb and the wrong both. Great call and we'll set up. A shame we didn't take advantage

Ok we survived a typical trap game. We obviously were sorta flat to start and had to battle yellow rain. Sometimes even best teams come out flat - these are mainly still kids. But we won and looked good in second half. No injuries to speak of. As far as the punt goes, wind was making ball do crazy stuff. Go tigers beat the bees.

initially thought reading the board during the first half last evening....there are a bunch of gutless chickens and stupid, stupid "fans" who post on Tnet and who need to be tossed out like yesterdays garbage for their cowardly posts about an injured Cole Stoudt who played his heart out for our Tigers. Personal attacks are against the rules on this website, but if you see a poster whose initials are "mechanic", please feel free to ridicule him mercilessly--he deserves all that and more

We had a 100-yard rusher and a 100-yard receiver, against "the best defense FSU had seen." Not too shabby.

Somebody tell Jumbo Dumbo

We will be the best D he may ever see, much less this year. Wake plays hard and I applaud their effort, but our Tigers shut them down after coming out a bit flat!!

Tiger D stepping up time after time. Thanks Cole for giving us all you had as you were obviously hurting for much of the game!!

Go Tigers!!
