Doesn't really seem that complicated. How many pro athletes are currently on NHL, NFL, MBL, and NBA rosters? How many of those are currently being sued for something like this?

if you are one of these NHL, NFL, MBL, or NBA players, or any other high profile person for that matter, either don't do it, or don't put yourself in situations of this nature without video evidence or witnesses.
It can happen to anyone.

You’re right if Deshaun had not been in this situation there would be no question. BUT for the woman to say it was consensual sex then try to exhort money from him is ridiculous. If I’m sitting on that jury she walks with zilch, nothing and zero.

No, I don't know how much extortion takes place behind closed doors and neither do you (it's behind closed doors after all).
I'm not a judge of anything but I'm also not stupid. From the beginning I believed two things; 1) there was something to the allegations and 2) it was a money grab. Both can be true.
It appears DW engaged in a pattern of hiring masseuses and soliciting them for something more. I suspect many of them went along with it. Some probably didn't. I don't think any of them are entitled to his money. You may not think what DW did is wrong but I suspect most people do. He is to blame for opening himself up to public ridicule and making himself vulnerable to a lawsuit like this.

I'm assuming the blackmail was related to him paying her for the sex? I can't imagine she would be trying to blackmail him by simply saying they had regular casual sex right? Unless maybe he was dating someone at the time and she figured he'd pay up in order to not get caught cheating?
