Adding Bleachers

Does anyone know what they are doing in the stadium, walked by from class the past couple of days and they are putting up some rickety looking bleachers behind the handicapped section that is above the student section and on the other corner behind the band above the handicapped seats. I don't remember that being announced. Maybe I missed something

They announced recently that the Hill would be filled in entirely with bleachers, and that the players will be running through a downward-sloped tunnel starting in our first home game. I'll have to find davidhood's article on the topic, but I'm pretty sure the Hill is no more.
I don't know how I feel about it, seems like it messes with the tradition.

The HILL will remain the same. The bleachers are additional seats for students now that all students will have assigned seating. They are being placed in the two open areas in the corner of the end zones.

Nope, what cougar11 said was definitely right. I'll see if I can go find the old @davidhood article where they talked about turning the Hill into the Tunnel

Talked about it or it was approved? I've been unable to find any mention of this in any of the stadium upgrade projects.

I'm not sure of the actual reason, but they did something similar for a big home game I recall 3-4 years ago. At the time it had something to do with the 3D cameras as this was when the 3D TV's were coming into popularity. I am assuming this will be something similar for TV cameras or media seating of some kind.

Not mentioned with the clear bag policy change is the elimination of pass-outs and the ability to go on the field at the end of the game. Security enhancements and all.

the entrance to the statium on the east side not replacing the hill
The hill will always be a part of Clemson football period.
It would be cool to add west endzone like seating at the top of the hill with a tunnel for the player to come through to appear at the rock
