Are season ticket sales down ?

Got an email from IPTAY requesting I renew my account ... I discontinued because I never got better seats and I live in Virginia.

Just curious.

It’s stupid to pay when 5 of the home games you can go for half of face value. Plus now it seems we only have a marquee home game about once every other year.

I am on year 36 with IPTAY and season tickets. I support the program regardless of the record. I know that some cannot afford it and I am not faulting you. But to the others, shame on you. If we all had the idea to save a dollar, we would not have the facilities or team that we do now. Thanks for nothing...

Actually several rumors going around that tickets are down

due to the rising prices finally causing many stay at home. If you notice the trend around the country, most schools are struggling with ticket sales - even Alabama. Clemson has just appeared to be immune to the trend due to our unprecedented success. But now, even that cannot overcome the sheer economics of the situation. Bottom line - many will still pay no matter how high it goes, but more and more people are going to be saying "too much".
