ACC moving more to ACCN from RSN

The ACC announced that the entire ACC baseball tournament and women's basketball tournament will be carried by ACC Network now instead of RSNs.

Currently RSNs hold one ACC football game per week. Will be interesting to see if more regular-season basketball and baseball will be shifted from RSNs to ESPN networks.

I hate how the ACC calls the entire baseball tournament the ACC Championship instead of just the championship game. I know they are trying to reserve the word “tournament” just for basketball, but quite frankly that is dumb and leads to confusing language, like in this tweet.

about #### time the women's basketball and the acc baseball tournament should have been on the acc network in the first place that is why you got the network in the first place to show all men's and women's sports

Moving more games to the ACCN will generate at least $12.00 per year per team in new revenue. I would call this a win for the conference and our Commish!

If I recall the ACC had some prior contracts with RSN's on content prior to the ACCN launch so it could simply be a matter of some of those arrangements that couldn't be negotiated out now expiring.
