That's not how "Magic number" works. We could get swept and make the ACC tourney if Duke also gets swept. So, their loss puts us 1 game closer. Any Duke loss or Clemson win brings the magic number down by 1.
After last night's Clemson win, the number is now 1.

Understand what you're saying but at the same time, it's pretty sad that we celebrate squeezing into the ACC tourney.
