Going to the S.Car UT game in two weeks expecting to be back home in time to watch the Tigers considering I figured that'd be a night game (which it now is @ 8). Unfortunately, somehow the S.Car-UT game got a 7:15 slot. I was already planning on wearing my Clemson stuff to the game but now looks like I'll be watching it too.
Anyone that has been to Columbia have suggestions on what not to do? Heard the ice is pretty potent.

Best suggestion is never go to Columbia.
And best of luck wearing clemson gear in there when we aren't playing them. That will gain you some extra special coot attention; like a AA battery to the back of the head.

I've come to find that a AA battery is the norm. Extra special attention will likely be a car battery to the back of the head

No offense, but why go to a USuC game at all much less wearing a Clemson shirt? I've always thought it to be poor taste when I see USuC shirts at Clemson games when we are playing teams other than USuC. What is the point other than to trying to get under some coots skin. IMO you are inviting trouble - if you want to display you are not for USuC then wear a UT shirt which would be appropriate...
I think it was this years Clemson vs GA Tech game where a TV shot of the stands showed a couple of coots wearing some stupid USuC shirts cheering against Clemson - just struck me as pathetic. Sorry for being "preachy" but I just don't get the point of going to a the cockroach for a non-Clemson vs USuC game wearing a bunch of Clemson stuff...

Great idea if you like fighting with drunk rednecks . I did that one year to the South Carolina-UT game as a matter fact in 1992 , and spent the entire time just fending off drunks that wanted to fight . It will be a waste of a good evening you could spend watching Clemson football .

Just wear a neutral color. You'll look like a complete ##### if you wear Clemson gear.
