About 50% of the people o this board need to never, ever say

emoji_events [54]

another word on T-Net.

You've acted like total jerks and you weren't simply worried Cole might not perform, you were absolutely sure of it. You made complete fools of yourselves and you know who you are.

All you disgraceful Cole basher's should find the rock you crawled out from under and slither back in for a long long time. Damm it feels good to be able to say this!!

One might say the same...

emoji_events [7]

about a fan who, at a time when the team is rolling over a traditional power, chooses to call out fellow Clemson fans.
It's not like you're sowing harmony with this post. And it's not like Cole hadn't well earned the doubt fans had in him.
I'm glad he's performing well, but there's no need to act like this was expected...

Agreed, he makes it seem like the so-called bashers WANT Cole to fail. No Clemson fan wants any of our players to do badly. Tonight has been a pleasant surprise and I'm happy for Cole, and the rest of the team. I think it's pretty low to accuse people on this board (besides the obvious coot trolls) of not being real fans.

going to fail and it was going to be EPIC ... and they couldn't wait to revel in his misery.

They totally knew that this was going to be a disaster because Cole simply didn't have what it takes to lead a team to a win over a quality opponent on a big stage.

Should they be called out now? You are Dang straight!

badge-donor-15yr.jpg flag link

I don't know about that...

Dec 29, 2014, 9:13 PM

I has sufficient reason to believe that Cole wouldn't be the QB we saw tonight, but was happy to see him succeed.
I was pulling him to succeed, but had little reason to think he would.

I'm with you , Apex . And when you continually bash a player , you are bashing the coaches , too . Only one I've ever bashed on this board is Tommy Bowden as head coach , and now I love him as ACC show guy .

at the door. He's having a very good game after a month of prep with new coordinators, and the whole team is in sync. This doesn't, however, change past performances, it just says that today it's going well for him, he's worked hard, playing very well and confidently, and everything's going right. Let's enjoy the performance.

You must be one who qualifies for being called out.

But the things that have been said about Cole Stoudt the last few weeks have gone way beyond criticism.

Pious posting needs to happen tonight. The people who were so unbelievably non-supportive and hyper critical of Cole can go back to being "good fans" later on. Tonight just for this little while, they get what they have coming to them.

Cole Finally Performed But He Sucked Mightly Before This

[1]
Dec 29, 2014, 10:48 PM

He Deserves All The Credit Tonight But He Also Deserves All The Criticism From His Early Unprepared Performances.

2022 orange level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpgmilitary_donation.jpg flag link

What went on the last few weeks was way beyond "criticism"

[2]
Dec 29, 2014, 11:08 PM

Expressing doubts about a player's ability is one thing, but totally trashing them over and over again is something totally different. No player who has given his all to Clemson for 4 years deserves to be treated that badly by a bunch of anonymous internet jackazzes.

Cole has not played particularly well before tonight, but never-the-less, he helped us WIN several games we would have probably LOST if he was not available this year.

He's a Clemson Tiger player and he did not deserve a fraction of the venomous assaults he was subjected to recently.

Please Note: Posters who simply expressed sincere doubts are not the subject of this thread ... the others with their over the top comments (and they know who they are) are the subject.
