“Indictments are imminent, walls are closing in” was a Chuckston T-man line, made in 2017 when he predicted that Trump wouldn’t be in office by the end of that year. It’s been the mocking point ever since.
Quozzel has predicted an indictment for laundering Russian mob money, not paying a proon star. He gets to gloat when the mob indictment comes.

I always figured he was going to go the Roy Cohn route...and keep right on getting away with it, until he didn't. He's been kicking the can down the road a long, long, long time. At some point he was always going to run out of road. Trump's always been easy to beat in a courtroom because he's a nightmare defendant and let's face it, he's almost always guilty as he!! - that's been discussed as nauseum, won't re-hash it here - but the hard part's always been getting him inside a courtroom.
At least three more batches of charges are coming, too. I think we all know that. The only one I think he has any real chance of beating, honestly, is the documents case. Legally it's supposedly close to a slam-dunk, but that trial is likely going to happen in Florida and the odds of getting a hung jury are much, much higher there. All it takes is one resolute MAGA on the jury who won't budge.
On the other hand, check the voter registrations in Fulton County, Manhattan, and especially Washington DC. Those jury pools would horrify me if I was Trump.
