Sooo ... what were the offensive improvements

Sep 29, 2021, 8:13 AM

From GT to NCSU ?

I rewatched the Nancy State game and couldn’t pinpoint anything specific

But I’m just a novice... not a professional like some

Please advise how Elliott used that prep week to get better

It was for more run plays straight into the strength of the defense!!! But you will have to admit, that helps DJ to become better at handing the ball off!!!!

A snap under center to end the first half.**

DJ actually completed a pass > 10 yards downfield? That's about all I can come up with.

Screw Calford.

2 80 yard TD drives.

Prior to the NC State our offense had not actually driven the length of the field and finished the drive with a TD.

We clearly can't do it consistently, but we have to be able to drive the length of the field and score because we aren't having the "home run" TD plays this season.

If you think about it, the offense scored a TD on almost every drive where we got even one first down.

Obviously that wasn't much scoring because we didn't get many first downs.

Apparently the next step is figuring out how to get a first down on more drives.

That may take some time***
