A prediction that means nothing...

Y'all known that I generally refrain from prediction. That said, I really feel good about this weekend's contest. My expectation is that the combination of Virginia's less-than-stellar fast-paced offense giving us even more chances with the ball, combined with Boyd's last homecoming in his home state, against guys he whipped in high school, sets the table for a major offensive breakout.

I anticipate great things this weekend.

LOL, yeah, that and the fact that he got his head back on straight after running for a couple of TD last Saturday.

Boyd has had a few spells where his panties were wadded since he first became a starter. They've been less frequent with shorter durations but the intensity hasn't changed. Sometimes he can't find his ### with a flashlight, both hands and a map. At other times he's the best in the world.

I expect him to finish this season with flawless performances and carry that into his pro career as a second rounder.

it also seemed as if we were breaking out of our funk as the game wore on against the turtles. If our D shows up big we may put up a big number fast.
