Next up on the copycat to do list is a downtown baseball stadium

I guess Beautiful Duncan Park (home of good time baseball ) is too far away from Main Street.

Don't blame them. I remember how nasty downtown Greenville was in the mid 90's. The turnaround is quite astounding. Anderson has copied them as well.

I graduated from Clemson in 84 and left the area. My roommate graduated and stayed in Greenville. Moved downtown and started buying houses. Now he's retired and I'm not!

Going to connect it to the rail trail and rework the amenities

Neighborhood is a lot nicer than where the new park is going.

$250 million could be spent strictly on the fan and player areas and not have to put a big chunk into building a field out of nothing.

With a leader(s) with some vision, they could have been the Euro-feel darling if they’d made the right moves around NAFTA/BMW time. Instead they crossed their fingers and hoped Milliken would bail them out.

We built a "skyscraper" in 1988, and everyone in the Herald-Journal told us this was going to be just the start of Spartanburg's big city boom.

Legend says you can see every meth lab in town from the top of it.
