goes a long way. I really hope our “brilliant “ staff learn this lesson. We can recruit at a very high level and mobility has got to be as much of a priority as throwing ability. If your QB can’t run, everything becomes exponentially more difficult to execute. Sadly, as long as DJ is our starter , we will see it over a over again.???????

I think DJ can run and hasn’t shied away from contact. I don’t think he’s good at all at feeling and reacting to pressure. The appropriate action may be to step up, slide, roll out and escape, or take off running. He’s too used to just shrugging it off because he’s just bigger and stronger.

watcing Trevor against the Bungles? I swear, one of my first thoughts as the game progressed was:

"Wow, Trevor is so fast as a runner compared to DJ, it's like a Ferrari vs a Checker Cab." I swear TL is faster and shiftier now than he was at Clemson. But, part of that is self preservation. He knows the hits in the NFL are a lot harder than anything he legally got in college, too.
