around him better. He manages the game. Distributing the ball and putting the team in position to win. A great QB does all of that and when needed can put the team on his shoulders and win games. Sadly DJ is neither. After 2 plus seasons, that’s not going to change. Clemson has won despite DJ.

Yes but Clemson has lost 5 games due to DJ as it's leader.

DJ could start and play all 12 games for the next 10 years and still be a little below average. There is no way that he inspires confidence in his teammates. Dabo has beat them all up to the point that the gag order has stifled any dialogue, but you can see the frustration in Shipley and the defensive players he calls out on a weekly basis.
