We know that no #1 seed has won the national championship in the playoff yet (not good for LSU), but here’s the kicker: no team who has beaten Oklahoma in the semi final has either. Us in 2015, Georgia in 2017, Bama in 2018. Who did LSU beat last weekend? Oklahoma. Not saying there is a correlation, but it is interesting none the less.
