I told my dad when they ran him 3 plays in a row that they were experimenting. Dabo is either looking for a new FB, or a power RB. With the depth we have at TE I was not surprised. I was sort of giddy. JayJay is a serious talent IMO.

I think they are training him to take over for Darrell Smith

Looks like he could be a hybrid back with blocking, receiving, and rushing responsibilities. Looks like they could use the H-back as more of a runner in the future. Would definitely add a dimension to our offense--I remember watching that Georgia game and wishing we had a big fullback/H-back like they had.

Could definitely be our new short down back***

I'd like to see Clemson call more bootlegs in short yardage. (giving Boyd the option to pass to Watkins or keep it)

They obviously don't have to use that play exclusively in short yardage, but it might be smart to save it for when they really needed it.

To heck with using him for short yardage. Looks like he can run the ball regardless of down

I said the same thing.

Took us all year to find a guy that hits the hole fast.

Looked very good running the ball. very natural. Made good cuts, ran fast and hard.
