5 star DB says our defense is too soft

and doesn't want to be in a defense that isn't aggressive. Hopefully we can get some flow this year and change his mind because he likes Clemson alot.
I will say it's been a long time since we've had some punishers in the secondary and at linebacker. The last one i remember was jamal fudge and travis pugh as a one-two punch. J. Miller was pretty stout as well but back when fudge and pugh played you knew someone was going to get their head taken off.
I thought Geohagen's film showed someone that liked contact. I don't see many of our DB's being punishers. Folks aren't scared to get hit when they go over the middle. somebody needs to step up and assume that role and create a more physical attitude for our D.
Maybe we could sway him in the end.

Since VKoenning we've been soft... we have recruited alot of fast guys that aren't pure hitters. So i'm agreeing with him to be honest with you...

does no good to have headhunters anymore you just get a flag for 15 yards even if you hit around the chest or shoulders

one of his favorites and if they can change his mind he'd probably commit. He seems like a no nonsense kind of kid and we'd be thrilled to get him. The 70 point debacle against WVU is probably what has him thinking this way...and who wouldn't. I think BV can make him a believer.

The kid name is M. Alexander out of Florida. The coaches seem to be recruiting him hard. He did eliminate Florida State as a possibility. Notre Dame seems to be our toughest competition for his services.
