FSU Schedule has been Weaker So Far

FSU is a good team, but they have not played as strong a schedule as us so far. They have played 4 Div 1 schools so far, with Pittsburgh or BC being the best. Clemson has played 5 Division 1 teams with on being consistently ranked in the top 10. They have not seen the team speed so far that they will see this weekend and have not played in anything close to the hostile environment they will see Saturday night. Their quarter back is big, but he stays mostly in the pocket so he will see pressure he has not seen before from our defensive line. Boston College pretty much ran through their defense, where ours stopped them. It comes down to eliminating turnovers and our defensive backs being able to cover for 5 seconds and throw disguised coverages on the freshman quarterback.
On their side of the ball it is no mystery what their game plan will be on defense. Bring pressure early and often to try and rattle Tajh. Coach Morris should have a game pla to handle this such as screens, 10 and out or button hook patterns that will enable Tajh to get rid of the ball in 3-4 seconds. We need to take what they give us instead of counting on the long ball always.

closer to 3.5 4 at the most. If our secondary has to cover for 5 seconds consistently we will be in trouble.

shots down field these days when it's the right time. Our game plan seems to be pick up 5-8 yards per play all the way down the field and wear them out. Occasionally, we break a big one out of that too.
Winston is good and will be great, but they've not proven anything this year. Remember, FSU is always overhyped. Freshman QB, at DV, all we need to do is play a solid game, and we'll be fine. I'm more worried about a let down in MD no matter what happens this week.

I have to say, the kid seems very composed. But to echo your point, this will be the best defense he's seen this year.
