Changed the momentum of the game, I'm really surprised Dabo didn't call a timeout once he saw they were going for it. A stop there was pivotal in trying to put the game away early. The longer they let them hang around I knew it was trouble. Same thing happen in the Wake game. DJ couldn't sustain drives, even with the 2 fumbles from Mafah and Williams on the returns, there's no guarantee we do anything then. For whatever reason we stopped running the ball off tackle and just pounding. But that Josh Vann catch on the sideline and the 4th and 4 TD that followed allowed alot of everything else to follow IMO.

There wasn't anything wrong with the defensive play call. Mukuba was there to cover the receiver, he just didn't do it.
As to the Rattler TD run, it was symbolic of the entire season: QBs breaking tackles and avoiding sacks/gaining yards. It happened over and over again. The DL to me was the most disappointing unit this year.

I agree - based on the pre-season hype, I expected this group to dominate as the Power Rangers did.

Halftime did it for me. The middle 8's, something Dabo praises this team was a huge fail. I believe Clemson was up 23-14 right before the half and got to midfield. The drive stalled and DJ punted. First possession in the 2nd half a 3 and out. And then an awful punt from Swanson followed by a 37 yd return. The middle 8's is where Clemson lost whatever momentum they had.

The first possession of the second half was worse than pathetic. It looked like we were ahead by 3 touchdowns and were trying to run the clock out at the end of a game. Our punting has been mediocre this year, but Saturday it was pathetic.

Lots of opportunities to do so. Score a TD on either the last drive of the first half or the first of the second half and I think we would have cruised to a win.
