4 team playoff

Oct 25, 2015, 12:09 AM

1. Ohio st.
2. Clemson
3. Tcu/baylor
4. Notre Dame

If the Irish beat Stanford and the Cardinal win the Pac12, I could see the Pac12 and SEC being left out of 4 team playoff. This is of course assuming LSU doesn't go undefeated.

Replace Bsylt TCU with LSU and quite possibly OSU with Mich St

You can bet a 12-1 LSU or Bama will be in.,.

especially Bama, since their loss was early.

Bama looked average against the Vols

LSU is a 1 trick pony, with a great running game. The rest of the SEC is average at best. Only ESPNs constant pumping keeps them where they are. #Memphisfootball

Deja Moo: The feeling that you've heard this bull before.

It's as possible as any prediction I guess.

The whole thing is still as much a crapshoot as ever especially with Baylor's qb having a neck injury. Notre Dame is always prone to lose one. The playoff committee will be pressed to find a way to get an SEC team in the playoff (whether they deserve it or not). And it is still rare for multiple teams to finish a season undefeated, so if any of these undefeated teams lose a single game, they're out. Either way it is shaping up to be a fun and interesting season. Good to be a Tiger!

Win out over NCST (bowl team), FSU (top 15), rest of schedule and a ranked Duke/UNC or Pitt team and we better be among the top four. Pray ND loses at Pitt or Stanford! While ESPIN doesn't like us over a one loss SEC team, we better pull for LSU to beat Alabama. With Utah's loss the PAC12 may be left out.

Go Tigers!

Everyone keeps assuming Bama in the SEC but it's Ole Miss who controls their own destiny. If they beat LSU then they will come out of the west. No way committee takes a team who lost to Memphis over Notre dame/stanford.

I would hope you're right but I just don't have enough faith

in the committee to see past the hype. Memphis is now ranked fairly high in the AP. I guess we will see what they really think with these upcoming playoff standings.

I agree with your projection.
