Assistant Coaches

If there is any question why Clemson has been trending down quickly the last to years, here's my stab at the cause:

Div 1 staffs are allowed 10 assistant coaches. Guess how many had ANY college coaching experience prior to being hired by Dabo..... FOUR. Two of those four were Streeter, who had coached at the powerhouse Richmond, and Austin who had coached at the powerhouse GA State.

Conn, Goodwin, Richardson, Grisham, Hall, and Spiller had NEVER been an assistant coach in the collegiate ranks. That is absolutely pathetic, and IMO the reason this team is so poorly coached. And even worse, look at these guys' salaries. Dabo sure did pull the wool over the AD's office and the board with compensation vs. experience.

They get paid by the job Title not experience.
