Today seems as good as any. Not a doubt in my mind we're talking the greatest decade in Clemson football without him. I understand all the it's not about money arguments but nothing wrong with publicly acknowledging we understand your importance.

It's all about the Jimmy and the Joe's, always has and always will be. CBV brings in the Jimmy and Joes... On both sides of the ball. He's a master at identifying talent. And we're not Bama, UGA, or OSU as many think we are. We still have to rely on the Renfrow, Turner's, spectors etc.

As we've seen, thin line between nattys and seasons like this year. Imho, the difference IS CBV. I'd realistically up his salary to 3 million.
