2021 LB's

Dec 13, 2020, 10:46 PM

If Skalski and Spector come back, Tigers will have potential future All-Americans at 3rd string on 2021 squad.

MLB: Skalski, Venables, Patterson

SLB: Jones, Simpson

WLB: Spector, Maguire, Bentley

Add in Kevin Swint, Sergio Allen, Barrett Carter, Jeremiah Trotter

That's 12 talented LB's. And 7 of them are freshman this year or incoming freshman. Lot's of special teams talent as well as younger, faster, and higher-rated players. Nice problem for BV to look forward to ...

If those two both stick around I’d look to see some guys transfer. Future all Americans aren’t going to wait three years to play.

I'd also expect Bentley to push up into second string

I get what you are saying after a few guys played well and the future looks bright, but at this point in recruiting you could basically say that every guy we bring in is a "potential future All-American".

It's true at linebacker, but you could say that about almost every position on our team.
