2015 ACCCG Offsides Call on Onsides Kick

I had a UNCheat fan bring up today that that bad call changed the course of Clemson Football history, resulting in 4 CFP appearances and 2 NC Titles.
What is it about Carolina fans North and South that live in the Theoretical world of what if's and buts?

Targeting not called.
One call did not go UNC's way.
One call did go UNC's way.
Most of all let's make sure they ignore that they still would have had to go down the field, score, convert the 2 pt play, then win the game in overtime.
That all seems so easy if the offside penalty wasn't called right?

They came back at the end w that small white boy receiver to get close enough for the insides kick.
But still the chance of winning w little time and have to score and get 2 points then win overtime against a superior team has to be very small.

I thought I remember that there was some sort of procedure infraction on that play as well. Like they lined up incorrectly? Either way it doesn't matter. We have 2 Nattys since then and their football program is a dumpster fire.

we didn't get the call but they explained it to us. From the best of my recollection
There was a man lined up incorrectly (behind the kicker maybe) and they had a couple dudes half a yard offsides before the ball was kicked

They certainly did. And that wasn’t the first time that the beloved Heels got a break or two in a basketball game.
Even if they got the onside kick they still had to quickly score, get a two point conversion to tie. Right?

Isn’t there suppose to be 5 players on either side of the kicker? There were 4 on one side and 6 on the other.
