Patience paying off for Zac Brooks

Zac Brooks arrived at Clemson as one of the top running backs in the nation and the No. 1 player coming out of Arkansas. But instead of making an immediate impact on the program, Brooks has had to display a lot of patience during his career with the Tigers. Full Story »

FINALLY - if you look back at my posts I have been pulling

for Zac to be the back-up rb since the Wofford game. Also, I have been posting about using him as a receiver out of the backfield on wheel routes. He is definitely the best receiver of the rb group! Now I look forward to seeing much more time keeping Wayne fresh. GO ZAC, GO GALLMAN, GO TIGERS!

Hope he sees even more snaps against BC

After we get a score or two ahead I hope they start rotating Brooks in on packages. It would be great for him to get tested against a stout front 7. Gallman could still get his 100+ probably in 15 touches or less. Give Brooks 10 or so.

He earned it.

Will Brooks return next year?...

Game day Programs list Brooks as a Senior, NOT a redshirt Junior.

Nope - 5th year senior - another reason to give him more

2012 was his true freshman year. He evidently received a med

medical redshirt for 2014. That makes him a redshirt junior currently just like the article states. ClemsonTigers.com says he's a junior too.

I love how humble Zac is after all he's been through in his time at Clemson. It would be so easy for him to complain about the limited carries and become frustrated. This is what a real team leader looks like. He's put the TEAM first, and made it his mission to help them win no matter what his role may be from week to week. Keep it up Zac! #GoTigers
