This board has been hyper critical of Dabo for not using the portal. USC uses it to obtain a 5 star QB and materially upgrade their roster and many on this board dump on that saying what a reject he is and that he couldn’t win the job at OU so who wants him. Be consistent people!!

Character means something at Clemson. From his entire history he has shown over and over again that he cares about him, nothing else. Keep getting best out and leaves. Why would Clemson want this guy, seriously ask yourself ?
Rattler has transferred 4 times now, 4 ????
Why waste time on a guy like him. Do you think he is a improvement to UofSC, great. Maybe he is, but fact remains he runs from competition and has never worked out.

Where are you getting 4 times he has transferred? He went to Oklahoma out of high school in 2019. Started 2020 and got benched in 2021.

Numbers ?? Rattler has a history, read about it.
Did anyone say that DJ had a good year. No, he played poorly but he is still a Clemson Tiger and I’ll support him.
If we had Brice Young do we make playoff ??
That type of thinking is pure waste. We had DJ, he struggled as did many Tigers this year. Injuries hammered this team after years of being very fortunate in that department.
Rattler would NEVER be at Clemson with Coach Dabo Swinney UNLESS Dabo felt he could make a difference in this young man’s life…. And it appears it would be needed because he has accomplished NOTHING yet you compare him to DJ who did win 9 games this year. Remind me how many Rattler won, not Caleb Williams ???

*yawn. We won despite DJ, not because of. It's a waste to think that they weren't over 100 QBs in CFB better than DJ this year. I'll support him as well, but there was another QB on the sideline that can run a zone read that I wanted to support.

Regardless of numbers, I'd still rather have DJ than rattler as Clemson QB. Maybe having to settle as a coot will humble the guy a bit, but wouldn't want to deal with the character issues. Besides, I'm still holding out hope that DJ just had an extreme sophomore slump and will look way better next year.

to try and improve their team. And maybe both of these guys are upgrades for them. But I am NOT jealous of them for signing these specific players. From what I know of Rattler, I wouldn't want him on my team. I know nothing about the TE, but think we are ok at that position.
