2 things

Jan 5, 2015, 5:07 PM

1- with all the #wetoodeep references in recruits tweets. Do you think they've heard the song?

If so, bravo for what the song has done for recruiting, and at least bit the phrase, "we too deep"

2- with the basketball renovations coming to Clemson, we may be a force to reckon with in a few years. So here's my question... I asked myself this is the car this morning mind you --

if clemson becomes elite in basketball, will your heart ever be all the way in it like it is for the football team? Will you ever get to a point where you cringe and cant sleep over a loss?

Chime in...

4. Let's please spend the bball money on football

5. A new bball renovation will not make us better

Correction: renovations will help. check oregon football history. They were nothing til Phil knight started leaving them millions.

Tradition can always be created. Our fan base is authentic.

We've had a long time to create bball tradition

There's a reason we haven't succeeded. LJ wasn't always considered a dump, either.

We're not ideally positioned as a bball school. That's OK, because our football, baseball, golf, rowing, and even track/soccer are.

Yes i have as well... I feel like if we lose one next year, depending on how, i may lose some. Just bc i don't want us to lose not a single game

No........................................

Very, very few people have the passion for basketball that most of us have for football. Ask yourself this question. Would you rather lose to USuC in football and sweep them in every other sport or beat them in football and them sweep us in every other sport? As for me, I'd rather win the football game. I slept just fine week before last when they beat us in basketball. But many coots haven't slept well in over a month now. Just check their message boards and you will realize how badly losing to us in football has hurt them.

True... BUT!!!

Jan 5, 2015, 5:58 PM

No one has passion because we suck.

If we started winning year in year out, with the likes of NC, Duke, people will have more expectations. The stadium will be filled Always! And with those expectations may come being let down...

So obviously you wont feel let down?

Football first and foremost. We must be good.

I'm saying , have your cake and eat it too. If we become Duke in bball, will ewe not have more feelings for the games?

I think I'd care more, and be on the bball bandwagon.

Ride it til the wheels fall off

We won't ever be consistently elite in bball

Jan 5, 2015, 8:41 PM

Even with nice facilities, we are a small rural school in the deep south. All without the storied history of a UNC or Duke.

I love my Tigers, but you aren't going to be world-beaters at every sport. Get baseball back up to snuff and I'll be a happy camper. Any wins we can get in bball is just extra sugar on the pudding.
