Meatloaf Memories

I was hanging out at my cousins house in Camden, around 1995. hotsawce and McLovin know him. (initials W.T.) We were listening to "I Would Do Anything For Love (but I won't do that)" on cassette. I thought the motorcycle sound at the beginning was really cool. He made me a copy of the cassette. He also made me a copy of "Whoomp (There it is)" on cassette. We walked over to my grandads house and blasted "Whoomp There It Is" on his grandpa's Bose stereo. He was not a fan.
Then I stopped by Sam Goody at the mall and bought another Tag Team cassette, "Here it is Bam". I begged my dad to play it in the car. I think it had a bad word in it, so he took it out of the player and yelled at me. The song was garbage, IIRC. I was so disappointed. It didn't have the powerful lyrics like "Whoomp There It Is" had.

my mom would always tell us what was for dinner in the morning on the way to school. I hate meatloaf, always have, always will, its disgusting. Each morning that she would say meatloaf, I was miserable ALL DAY LONG. It was like 6pm was bearing down on me all day. My mom knew this, so one day she told us meatloaf, I got home and probably did whatever I typically do and then she arrived
With pizzas. WHAT A DAY!!!!!!

eat at the Sharon Grill after church. We got the Meatloaf special. It was a ton of food and so neither of us could finish it. We both brought it back to our houses and both ate them later that evening. I'll be danged if BOTH of us didn't stay up the entire night puking and shitting our guts out.
That is the last time I ate meatloaf.
