The year we lost to arm Pitt 34-3 in our only ever match up with the school. Let's shove the ketchup bottle back up their #### in 2016 and end the 39 year drought to their pathetic pink panther school.

years.....Pitt was coming off the National Championship the year before when they had some running back named Dorsett.....but almost the rest of their entire team was back for that Gator Bowl....they were far more talented than us, but the Tigers never quit on the field. The huge Clemson crowd at that game sent a message to bowl committees everywhere that a Clemson invitation guaranteed ticket sales success....not to mention full hotels and restaurants.

It was a RB not Cavanaugh who was taunting. I met Cavanaugh when he was playing with the Patriots, and he was a nice person. However, we do need to give Pitt some pay back for that Gator Bowl game....with some high rate interest that has accrued since 1977. Want to beat them bad.
