You will notice the band is playing and it's REAL MUSIC during warmups. It is not this blaring GARBAGE they call music we hear today.

I was there playing the sousaphone. The only sousaphone player still needing his music byHomecoming to know when to "Oom" and when to "Pah" when playing Tiger Rag. I checked the '78 year book and the band still wore busbies. Is it REALLY TigerBand if they aren't wearing busbies (orange jackets and black pants)? Talk about losing a tradition... (sigh).

Great to see and hear clips from the old days. Not politically correct but I will always remember our band playing Tiger Rag and going straight to Dixie. Those were the days.

I remember the band playing "The Washington Post" before each game. I wonder when they stopped that.

I remember it as well. Seems like it lasted through most of the 80's....along with the Clemson Chorus group.

Eight years after I graduated. Hard to believe still no upper decks. The stadium has sure come a long way!
