Sam Saunders shot a nice -4 under final round to end up @ -11 and T-54th Place . . . Hard to believe 5 birdies, an eagle and 3 bogies would drop you 3 spots on the Leaderboard . . . but it did . . . Three rounds in the sixties and the other one under par is a nice weekend!!!

Lucas is just 2 shots out of a Top 10 finish . . .

Great to see Harold Varner III leading after 54 holes. He is from my hometown of Gastonia, NC. And he is a Gastonia Muni golfer. Wouldn’t it be great to see him win at HH! Good luck tomorrow Harold! ????????

league" tour. Irony is, if he could have shot that score out on the PGA Tour, it would probably be a higher finish than that in most tournaments. The Korn Ferry Tour is dog eat dog with players trying to GET to the PGA Tour, shooting some really good numbers at times.

Just a quick lookup illustrates what I mean. If Sam had posted that -11 at the Valero Texas Open, he would have finished tied for SECOND.
