Coach pitch ended last night

Lost 17-10. Other team had a coach yell at a player for striking out and shoving the bat into his chest. Then another coach who was the dad apparently yelled for his wife to come get her fing kid out of the dugout.

We ended with some tears because our kids are going to miss their friends. We went for ice cream with a lot of the kids afterwards.

Solid season. Kids had fun and got better.

Now to finish 2 soccer seasons over the next couple of weeks.

At the soccer tournament last weekend

9-10 YOs. And during the championship game this over weight redneck was yelling at the kids to push the other team. She was saying “just push them over”

I told her that wasn’t something we should be teaching the kids. But she was a dumb redneck and said “well if they are pushing then we should push back”

11/12 little league wrapping up as well...

had our last practice last night, last game today, tournament next week.
Last night, we had fun. hit them tennis balls as high as possible and we had a competition to see who could catch one.
Batting practice with racketballs to let them hit homers. Worst player on team, i snuck a golf ball in there and he cranked it way over the fence. The team cheering and his smile made my season.

This is a huge complex with 10+ fields, and at the end of practice we were laughing and yelling so loud there were 100 other parents watching and cheering.

Ended practice with ice cream drumsticks in dugout.

Probably get killed in tournament next week, who cares :)
