1 win every 7yrs has to be acceptable.

We can't expect to beat them %100 of the time. That's what helped me sleep last night(that and modelo). Now we go for 7 more! This is still OUR state. They will never sniff a natty. They'll never win 7 in a row. They're mascot will always be a chicken. And yes, they might just have saved us from an ### whoopin in the playoffs. Trophy case!

What changes are we making to make that reality?

Recruiting has dropped off. Coaches aren’t getting it done. Complacency (like cancer) has taken hold.
Clemson football is dying.

Unfortunately, the OP is showing the epitome of complacency

The point is a number of factors entered into the WAY we lost that game, and if those factors are allowed to continue, then we can look forward to more losses like the one yesterday-- inexcusable losses! While I agree that winning 7 of the last 8 may be a good "result", it is NOT a good "goal." The goal must be 8 for 8. JMO.

Actually, hate to be a Debby downer, but facts do matter. In the last 14 games we are 8-6 against the coots. Too close for my liking. If we are going to improve we must look at the facts objectively and not through orange colored glasses.

That win was not acceptable because they did not win that game without the help of the one man who could have at least given us a chance if he had not decided to stick with "his guy". This loss, IMO, is strictly on our Head Coach. The rest of the message is really a moot point.

To me it’s less about the loss and more about the how we lost it

That was a winnable game. You run like we were running and played decent enough defense, there is no excuse for losing that game.
Some will blame turnovers, but we were only -1 in the margin and turnovers hurt USC more than us. Their 2 TO’s cost them 14points!!!!
I put it squarely on the coaches.

Agree. You tell me before the game we will have a pick 6, a safety and rush for more than 200 yards and there is no way we lose.

Do you really think DJ will beat them in Cootville next year. So you can at least count on two in a row for them.

This should put an end to all the comments about their win in Athens in 2019. The worst part of this, for the rest of us? Starting tomorrow, having to hear about how they'll challenge for the SEC East in 2023.
