Yep a lot of the fun stuff here would be frowned upon on that subreddit which is something I really like about it. Not a ton of trash talk and stuff most of it is pretty good.

There's a lot of great information on Reddit, and since a lot of the posters are college students, info seems to hit there first, and they're generally pretty accurate.
The people are very nice to one another and generally are extremely cordial. Trash talk is virtually nonexistent and the Clemson and gamecock fans seem to get along for the most part. Accurate posts are prided and baseless rumors/speculation tends to be downvoted all to hell. Posting a post such as "Dabo is going to lose" and then you click it and it says "his shoe in Al Golden's a55" - those types of clickbait posts that seem to be so popular here, they'd get downvoted to oblivion. Trash talk will get you banned.
It's fun and interesting and I learn a lot about a ton of different schools on that site, but it's just a different vibe there. If you do want to try it out, by all means - go ahead. There's a ton of great info buried in there. But.. well, you'll see. The main rules are to back up your posts with facts, and to be courteous to posters from other schools - things you don't see much of on here. Not to slant Tnet, but.. surely you know what I mean. Check it out. It's just different.

/r/cfb can be useful for interacting with more recent alumni and current students. TigerNet is great for getting a handle on what's going on with t-shirt fans and the class of 1936. I'd say both boards have their good points.

With most of Reddit, I can agree with what you're saying.. But the /r/cfb page is actually legit. Politics, agendas, popular news and celebrity gossip is checked at the door on that particular sub.
You can find literally everything on Reddit. So sure, there is all kinds of nonsense. But if you know where to look, there is some quality content as well.
