Calling all Jounge BBQ experts

I will be smoking brisket for the first time next weekend. I have watched a ton of youtube videos and read many how-to websites on the subject. I feel like I am prepared and will be able to make a lovely brisket. I simply ask the jounge for any advice they may feel appropriate. TIA


Also, I will be feeding roughly 30 folks. I was thinking I will need three full briskets for this amount of people. Is this a good estimate?

100% Catsup marinade. Microwave the meat on high for 12-14

minutes or until golden black around the edges. Take it out, rub with sea salt and paprika, snort a line of garlic granules, rub down with a 50/50 mustard and mayo glaze and microwave for another 5-6 minutes. Serve with parsley and fish sauce.

a response.

From what I understand, it's a lot harder than a porker should or ribs, and can really go sideways on you. If it were me, I'd at least do a practice run before smoking one for an audience, but that's just me.
