No one saw this coming, not this fast. There will be a lot of “I told you sos”. Don’t believe it. No one saw this coming. I’m as big a Braves fan as has ever lived. I heard a lot of “maybe 2019 or 2020”. No one saw division champs in 2018.

and it hasn't hurt that the Phils and Nats have been bad this season.

Braves are definitely ahead of schedule.....and from reports, their minor league system is still loaded with talent

simply b/c the organization said they really wanted to have this team in 2017 to coincide with the new stadium. While that seemed premature, there were signs last year things were coming together.

Now, if we can build more quality depth at Pitcher, especially at closer (good grief) we'll be a really strong team with high expectations in 2019 and beyond.
