Why does everything taste the same at Panera? The sausage sandwich tastes like the grilled cheese that tastes like the soup that tastes like the chocolate chipper cookie.
Is it a conspiracy?

Try to stay away from there for lunch because who wants to spend $11 on a turkey sandwich on soggy whole grain bread.
Haven't tried enough there to notice this trend, but can easily see it.

is what it cost, at a minimum, for my family to eat Panera.
I like the Turkey Chili but it aint worth close to $50 to eat there.
My kids like the chicken noodle soup with a side of bread or an apple. Literally $1.50 worth of food (at the most) for probably $7-8.

they are getting beagles, which are really really awesome.
If I go to a catered meeting and they have Pinierro Bread catering, I get ticked off... at free food... that's how much it sux.

But it's not limited to Panera. McDonalds kinda all tastes the same, IHOP, etc.
The more yeast is involved, the more likely there is a house flavor.
Panera does lots of bread, therefore it tastes a lot alike.
