Swinney updates several injuries on the team

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney spoke with the media following his team's 56-10 demolition of Boston College on Friday night and shared an update on some of the injuries on his team.

"I think everybody was ok," Swinney said. "Mike (Williams) felt like he could have kept going. He kind of tweaked the lower part of his butt. I guess that would be top of your ham(string). So we said let's just hold him and see. It loosened up and he was ready to go. Again these guys have played on a short week. They are a physical team."

Clemson fans were nervous when star defensive lineman Christian Wilkins went down in the second quarter.

Christian is ok," Swinney said. "He is probably going to milk this through the weekend. He's got a little boot on his ankle, but he is good. He is good shape. He played well. It was good to see him in his homecoming have three tackles for loss as well.

Clemson defensive back Ryan Carter is also banged up on the defense.

"Ryan Carter, I think he is ok," Swinney said. "He kind of sprained his ankle too. I don't think anybody was serious that will keep them out of practice on Monday, but we will see as we evaluate them tomorrow."
