Swinney makes more redshirt decisions

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said after Tuesday's practice that several more freshman will get the opportunity to redshirt their freshman year.

Last week, Swinney discussed several freshman on the Clemson football team and said the following would play: Garrett Williams, Van Smith, Christian Wilkins, Deon Cain, Ray-Ray McCloud, Kelly Bryant, Mark Fields, Albert Huggins, Austin Bryant, J.D. Davis, Judah Davis, Jalen Williams, Mitch Hyatt and Jake Fruhmorgen.

The following players were on the bubble: Tucker Israel, Clelin Ferrell, Chad Smith and Adam Choice.

Two offensive linemen that Swinney said would redshirt were Noah Green and Zach Giella.
