Rodriguez will be honorary team captain for Rams vs. Bears

The St. Louis Rams announced that Purple heart award recipient and former Clemson wide receiver Daniel Rodriguez will return as an honorary team captain for Sunday's noon game against the Bears.

Rodriguez caught two passes for 10 yards and averaged 23.7 yards on seven kickoff returns and 4.8 yards on six punt returns in the preseason with the Rams. The decorated war hero was waived on September 5th by the Rams.

He had had 11 receptions for 39 yards and one touchdown, a five-yard carry and six punt returns for 57 yards in 188 snaps over 39 games (one start) during his Clemson football playing days.
