Former Clemson running back Zac Brooks had a workout with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday according to a report by ESPN's NFL insider Adam Caplan.

Brooks battled hamstring issues during the offseason and training camp. He played in two NFL preseason games with the Seattle Seahawks and had six carries for 17 yards and a four-yard catch. He was released by the Seahawks recently with their abundance of depth at the running back position with C.J. Prosise, Christine Michael, Thomas Rawls, Troymaine Pope, Alex Collins, and George Farmer.

Brooks was drafted #247 overall by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

In 2015 at Clemson, Brooks had 41 attempts for 234 yards and three rushing touchdowns and also had nine receptions for 113 yards and two scores. For his career, he had 607 yards on only 116 carries and 17 receptions for 197 receiving yards and eight total scores.
