The Tigers may look to sign one quarterback in this class, and the top quarterback on the board right now could be Cameron Sexton. Sexton took his first official visit this weekend to Clemson.

"It was great. The game was great, and the atmosphere was great. It was my first experience at Clemson."

Sexton had heard a lot about Running Down the Hill, but was not prepared for what he saw on Saturday.

"You hear about them Running Down the Hill, and see it on TV. I didn't think it was that big of a deal before I went. TV does it no justice. The excitement and anticipation that goes with running down the hill is great."

Coach O'Cain is recruiting Sexton for Clemson, but he met with several coaches this weekend.

"I got to meet with Coach O'Cain, Burns, and Bowden. It went really well. I got to know all of them better. I went through the pre-game walk through which was nice."

Cullen Harper and Tribble Reese were the player host for Sexton this weekend.

"I didn't get into Clemson until about 4 a.m. Saturday morning. So, I didn't really get to go out with them much."

Sexton also had a conversation with Charlie Whitehurst.

"Charlie is a cool cat. He is a good leader for his team. Next year, I definitely want to redshirt. Charlie is the type quarterback that I would like to be able to come in and learn from my first season."

At the game, Sexton talked with Clemson commitment Rendrick Taylor and his good friend Jonathan Hannah.

"I played Rendrick Friday night. We jumped out on them 21-0, but they came back and beat us. Rendrick is an excellent football player. He didn't really put any pressure on me to come to Clemson. Jonathan and I are really good friends. We have talked about maybe playing together at the college level. If it works out for both of us, it would be great to play together, but we are not going to go somewhere that is a bad fit for one us just to play together."

Sexton has set up one more official visit with Florida State on September 25, so he will get to see Clemson once again. The Tigers are in his top five with FSU, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, and NC State.
