Chris Culliver jumped on an early offer from NC State. Clemson and Virginia Tech have offered the Tar Heel state speedster as well. Culliver could be starting to open back up his recruitment.

"I am still committed to NC State. It may stay that way, but I might start to look harder at some other schools."

The Tigers would love to Culliver open back up his recruitment. Chris Rumph is the recruiter of record, and he has had constant contact with Culliver.

"Coach Rumph sends me a lot of mail and text messages. He is a good coach, and I enjoy hearing from him. Clemson is a school that I want to look at closer."

Culliver shined at the Clemson Nike Camp. It was a performance he was very pleased.

"I felt like I had a really good day at Clemson. My forty time was a 4.37, and I performed well in everything. I wanted to have the highest SPARQ rating, but that gives me something to work for."

We will continue to track Culliver closely, as we believe Clemson has a shot to get in the mix.
