Ryan Houston - Running Back
Height: 6-2   Weight: 235   Hometown: Matthews, NC (Butler HS)   Class: 2007
ESPN: NR

Clemson has landed big time running backs the last two classes. It will be difficult to land a third, but new tight ends coach Billy Napier certainly has Clemson in position.

Ryan Houston of Matthews, North Carolina is one of the top running backs in the southeast. Houston is a big bruising back with good speed. He has several offers to choose from, but right now three schools are at the top.

"North Carolina, Florida, and Clemson would be my top three right now. I am not close to a decision, so a lot could change, but I like those three right now."

What does Houston like about the Tigers?

"Clemson really committed to the running game last season. I really like Coach Napier. He has written me every week. Clemson will run a lot of one back sets, and I like that. I want to go to a school, where I can 20 carries a game."

Miami recently offered Houston, and Houston said he believed Florida State was close to offering.
