Clemson picked up its 13th verbal commitment Sunday morning. Junior college athlete Chris Russell verbally committed to the Tigers following his visit to Clemson.

Russell is listed as an athlete, and we believe he could land at safety with the Tigers. Russell was highly recruited out of high school and signed with Colorado before enrolling in Coffeyville Community College.

Russell did not play this season, and it is possible he could have three years to play three with the Tigers. Attempts to reach Russell have been unsuccessful, but we were able to confirm his commitment through a source close to his recruiting.
