Jamie Robinson is the top cover corner in the state of South Carolina this year. Robinson may have been the best corner in South Carolina last season as well. Northwestern picked up a huge win Friday night over number one ranked and rival Rock Hill.
"We just played hard. We wanted it more. We finished the year 11-0. The playoffs start this Friday against Mauldin. State has been our goal, and I think we have a pretty good chance to do it." Robinson was recently selected to the Shrine Bowl. "It felt pretty nice knowing the history of all the great players that have played in the Shrine Bowl. It was a big honor for me." Robinson has taken unofficial visits to Clemson, FSU, and South Carolina. "Clemson and FSU really stood out. They are both dead even right now. I thought Clemson played great last night against Miami. They really wanted to win that game. Coach Blackwell still calls me every week. We normally talk about me coming up there. Hopefully, I will be there for the South Carolina game. Right now, I am looking at close to signing day before I have a decision."
