Why did you choose Clemson?

“I felt like it was the best place for me. They have a lot of ways to get me the ball.”

You brother Davey Ford played at Florida State, what is he doing now?

“He lives in Atlanta now.”

What is your fastest forty time?

“My fastest time is 4.12.”

How many coaches do you have show up at the combines?

“We had about 80 coaches there.”

How did you do this season for Fork Union?

“36 catches for 1236 yards, and I had total 16 touchdowns.”

Talk about the difference in punt returns and kick returns?

“The punt returns you really depend on your gunners, if you gunners don’t block, you can’t do much. On kickoff returns, you can see the field a lot better.”

Do you prefer one over the other?

“I say I am probably better on punt returns. I am good on kickoff returns too, but I like punt returns.”

How has Clemson said they will use you in the offense?

“I love the bubble screens. They are probably going to put me at running back a little too.”

What offers did you have out of high school?

“I had North Carolina and Virginia out of high school.”

Who offered you after this season?

“University of Southern Cal, Florida, Virginia, Michigan, and Michigan State.”

Who finished behind Clemson?

“USC”

Talk about your official visit to Clemson:

“I felt real comfortable on my visit. I had a great host in La’Donte Harris. We hung out a lot, and had a real good time.”

Will you enroll in January?

“I will be there in January.”

Tell the folks a little about Fork Union:

“Going to a military school, it keeps you focus more than a regular college. It is tough at first, but I got used to doing it everyday. The competition was really good, especially Hargrave. Hargrave was like playing Virginia Tech.”

Will you run track at Clemson?

“I am going to run track at Clemson, too. I run the 100 and 200. My best time in the 100 meters is a 10.21. I am going to wait and run track next season.”
