Lee Tilley made a long trek across the southeastern United States this summer. Tilley made unofficial stops at Virginia Tech, Clemson, Georgia, Florida, and Auburn. Tilley has a very impressive offer list, but four schools have already earned official visits.

"I am going to Georgia on September 10, Clemson September 17, and Oklahoma September 30, and Arizona State October 7. Virginia Tech and Auburn are in the mix for my final visit, as well as Syracuse. I am not sure when I will decide on my fifth visit."

What has put the Tigers high on the list with Tilley?

"Clemson made a good impression on my trip there. Clemson is a football town. You see everyone wearing orange, so I know their fans really care a lot about the football program. They are building a new facility in their endzone. It will be really nice when they are finished. Coach (Brad) Scott is recruiting me, and he seems like a good coach to play for. I am excited to see Clemson play. They will be playing Miami, while I'm there so it should be packed."

The Tigers have made up a lot of ground on Tilley. Before the unofficial visit, we did not feel Clemson stood a good chance to land Tilley. Georgia may be the team to beat, but the Tigers will get one more chance with Tilley in September.
